Charcoal smudgened eye make-up returned to Catwalk's again, this season, along with embellished winged eyes, with glitter, beads, and motifs. To re-create this look, you may have to be an expert, as attempting to line eyes in such a way, takes precision and a great artistic hand, or talent. First, cleanse, tone and moisturise face, using an excellent primer. Add, a little tinted moisturiser to your normal creams, or simply replace. Apply some Strobe Cream from MAC, or another excellent highlighter, placing emphasis on highlighter, just underneath brows, to add lift to the eyes. Using, an eye pencil, which is black and creamy in consistency, line eyes, and graduate slowly, flicking out the pencil, in an outwards direction. You can be as inventive as you like.
Star product for this look: CHANEL Ombre essentielle Multi-use Longwearing eye shadow.
Catwalk's are still focused on dark eyes, creating dramatic and deep eye make-up looks. Spring/Summer 2024 was in line with this make-up trend again, with black, brown and grey eye-shadow influencing the fashion and beauty world.
Faded, and muted greys are making an impact over the last few years too, and many leading Catwalk looks are including winged eyes, dark black smouldering eye-shadow, or light grey powder on the lids.
All you need now is the perfect feline flick., or something original, to create a personal make-up statement, such as above.
Creating smoky eyes, may not be as hard as you think. You don't need a make-up artist.
Here's how: Invest in a good quality cleanser and moisturiser, and some eye cleansing lotion. Adding some translucent powder to your face can create an excellent canvas, as does a good primer. Buy a good eye shadow brush, and coat the upper eyelid with a smoky charcoal or dark grey eyeshadow. Finally curl eyelashes to lift eyes, and finish with mascara.
Smoky eyes: After getting the basics right, this Catwalk eye make-up 'look' can get as interesting as you wish. You can make things more garish, with added embellishments such as chocolate brown eye glitter, or some highlighter, or stick with coffee browns, or classic browns, and even grey eyeshadows, pencils or pens.

Cat eyed flicks, were all the rage this season again, paired with subdued cherry lips, a dewy complexion, and orange highlighted eyes. Use a warm matte foundation to create a canvas for this beauty look, and finish with a spray of fix-it by MAC. Using a eye brush, powder orange or gold eyeshadow across the lids and outer eye area, and highlight below eyes, using a highlighting concealer. To create a feline flick, use Artliner by Lancome, for quality, definition and style. Finish with a dewy cherry lipstick like MACximal Sleek Satin Lipstick in Berry.
Catwalk make-up during A/W 2024 had a huge focus on chocolate brown, dark cherry lips and dark mauve’s. A comeback of clear mascara is evident too, with fresh faces, clear lashes, lip-gloss and loads of serum based products, which means both world's meet well, and new make-up looks are created, combining classic with the super-cool.
